An entire generation of writers are now socialized to live their lives and share their work in a virtual reality by participating in Internet-based social media networks, bloggingm podcasting and so forth. The question many writers have is ... how does copyright apply and what are the potential legal pitfalls of providing protected content on the Internet and accessing and sharing the online work of others. Attend this very important and informative webinar for the answers!

In this one-hour webinar, you will learn copyright basics and how the rules apply when you create a literary or artist work and share it on the Internet.

After attending this webinar you will understand:

  • How the law applies to blogging, tweeting, uploading and downloading
  • What is protected on the Web
  • The critical difference between "public domain" information and "fair use"
